Skoda's reasoning is that majority of the buyers in this segment opt for the top spec variant anyway. The Superb and Octavia also have the highest demand for the top spec variants. Though this could change once demand picks up and supply internationally is sorted out. Skoda has high hopes from the Kodiaq internationally.
