Got a few diesel mech. tellin me 3k to 4k; then i have other guys tellin me 6k to 8k. The shop i have it at has had it for 2 months now and havn't got to 6-cylinder diesel engine. $3,000 – $55,000. Smaller engines will cost less to rebuild than larger engines. Type of parts needed. Remanufactured fuel injectors. $500 – $5,000.
